For example, I masked the name of my university with XXXX for anonymity (… in compliance with XXXX institution’s IRB). The top journal’s reviewer on that was: “The paper needs to be proofread for grammatical errors and missing information (e.g. XXXX at the end of P12).” Despite all this, the editor rejected the paper.
