I’ve felt in the best hands with GWO, all the way through a 2 year RR process (which is partly my own fault, as I extended a deadline altogether 6 months while I was finishing and defending my PhD). While my three RRs were all ‘major revisions’ which, when I got them, felt like a blow, the comments and feedback was very detailed and very positive and encouraging throughout. This was the first paper I ever wrote, and in the beginning I had little clue what I was doing. So, I highly appreciate that GWO (probably saw this and) still gave a newbie a fair chance to publish in the best gender-journal in the world. That fact that the editors did not give up on my paper motivated me to make their time and effort worth their while.
